anyone else seen this?? its one of the scariest films iv seen! i couldnt even watch at some parts!

Saw this in the cinema last week, I really enjoyed it. I can't remember ever jumping so much at a film, it does a brilliant job of sustaining the tension and keeping things just on the edge of surreal. I loved the look of the film too.

I loved The Orphanage. It was really scary, but strange because it made me feel somewhat warm and comforted by its ending.

great movie. her howl when she found out what happened was so sad. made me cry. the movie didn't scare me that much though. it was gripping though. and so sooooo well acted.

we saw this lastnight....very spellbinding and sad...I liked the references to Peter Pan

"the orphanage" is kind of fucking awesome.

I really really liked it. I screamed twice and maybe just maybe cried. Oh and I jumped out of my seat during that part. You know which part I mean.

i just moved this to the top of my netflix list.
i hope it's really scary. i haven't seen a really scary movie in a long time.

i actually watched this in my horror film class.

one of the best movies ive seen this year. not scary but jumpy, yes. i know i did a few times.

lovelove the ending. although a bit sad.

i've tried to do that, i use my bf's laptop and he has all kinds of security crap set up on there and it won't work.

I loved it, but I couldn't put my feet on the floor in the cinema in case something grabbed them.

I love Guillemro Del Toro, you should see Cronos and The Devil's Backbone, they're not as well known as Pan's Labrynth but they're equally good.

The fucking sack on that kid's head scared the shit out of me. I'm not ging near any caves or old houses bathrooms for a long time.

The villa we honeymooned in in italy was v similar to the setting of 'The Devil's Backbone' I got so freaked-out I had to take Vallium every night to get to sleep! Not very romantic It had the pool and everything though. *runs away*

It hasn't come out here yet (the more indie flicks come out months after initial release but we do eventually get all of them) but I haven't heard one bad review of it and no one that's said they hated it. I'm sure its well good.
Isn't the director signed to start shooting the Hobbit next year?

I saw the beginning of it and it seemed very good, I unfortunately couldn't stay and watch it but I'm definitely going to see the rest of it, I'm easily scared by these kind of films though

I think you must. There were two parts, really, one after the other. But the second part nearly killed me.
