I was only kidding when I said I wanted Owen dead but it ****ing happened. He was such an arsehole to Tosh at first, and up until the end really, that I simply disliked him.

Buffy is one of those shows I grew up with. I really, really wanted to be her. Unlike these other Sci-Fi shows, I don't want to be Rose or Gwenn or whatever. Buffy kicked *** all of the time. She was the Slayer.

As for the doalog on Torchwood, well, yeah, some of it is especially silly, but that could be said for a lot of other shows. It embarrasses me the most when they aggrandize a small issue because of their own issues, like the episode with the animal some guys were chopping meat off of and Jack didn't want to kill because too many things have died or they have killed too much, something like that.
