Aye, that was fairly baws. I managed to see it through to the end, but didn't feel glad that I had.

There's only been one film that has made me walk out of the cinema, and it was that 'Fred Claus' film. I fell asleep roughly a quarter of an hour in (I'm a pretty light sleeper who can't usually sleep through noise, so this is a pretty impressive feat for any film). When I woke up again and realised it still wasn't holding my attention, I figured it was time to leave.

A lot. Anything too violent or disturbing, & i'm gone. Casino had some of my favotite actors, but gave me a really bad nightmare. i wish i hadn't seen it!

i was watching Brokeback Mountain at my neighbour's, & heard that it had a very sad ending, so i left halfway thru, and didn't enjoy it.

Lost Highway: I'm usually a total sheep and will sit through a lot of bullshit, but this bullshit met with mixed-poor reviews, so it didn't seem worth the trouble. Had it been critically acclaimed, I would have sat through it and then started a post on KR about what a great movie it is and how much I enjoyed it.

Batman & Robin: This bored the shit out of me. The relief of walking out and not having to watch it anymore was worth the price of admission.

And I agree about Crash. It's what happens when a dated after school special ejaculates in the cunt of a dated movie of the week. "I'm a bitchy white cunt who got hurt, and my Mexican maid dialled 911. Maybe not being white doesn't automatically make a person evil afterall."
It may seem obvious now, but in 2005 that must have been a real poignant message.

The fact that piece of shit exists also leads to confusion when calling a video store to ask about the Cronenberg movie called Crash with Elias Koteas and ass licking. AKA Good Crash.

Oh yes...and Eyes Wide Shut. I am a giant Kubrick fan and I was SO disappointed, it seemed half finished to me. I am so not a Tom Cruise fan as well.
I took a friend with me to see this, because I was expecting greatness (after all, it's KUBRICK! I was thinking of Barry Lyndon, 2001, etc.). She didn't talk to me for DAYS afterward. Maybe she overreacted a bit, but she had a point.

Usually I don't mind sitting through shitty movies, because at least you're in air-conditioning and sitting in comfy chairs, but I did walk out on Be Cool. It was just TOO shit.

The supposedly classic cult film Forbidden Zone. Then again, we didn't give it more than 15 minutes.

I didn't see it at the cinema, but I did the DVD equivalent, I switched to 16x regular speed, stopping occasionally to see if anything not completely fucking dreary and miserable was happening. But it never was.

I nearly saw that at the cinema, but am so glad I didn't. I watched the whole damn thing, admittedly reading a magazine at the same time after the first ten minutes. It's funny really, because I quite enjoyed Elephant.

I've never walked out of a film, ever, though I've come close. Most bad films I've watched have been ones I deliberately decided to go to see with my mate Greg, for cheap laughs at them. Not with them. If I'd seen Charlies [sic?] Angels I doubt I'd have lasted.

Wait!

I walked out of Return of the Jedi with my Dad when I was seven. It was the last of a triple-play with Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back, and I'd already seen that one before anyway. More importantly, it was sometime around midnight on a school night. I really had to beg my Mum to be allowed to go at all. I didn't walk out in disgust, but I did walk out.

I have very vivid memories of that night. I can distinctly recall hearing the song "Honesty" by Billy Joel for the first time in the car on the way home. I quite liked that one, until I was about nine.

Yeah, I think it is. One of my friends saw it recently and told me it was pretty funny. I think it was mainly Bill P's heavy breathing that made me turn it off.
