Any fans?

I am watching the DVDs. I just started season 2. Sometimes this show has these wonderful little moments and I can't not laugh out loud. But I fucking LOATHE Brenda, and to a lesser degree, Nate. They could not be more self-obsessed and whiney.

I really hope she dies.

six feet under is like my favorite show ever. I even had this fantasy that I'd do a guest appearance in it someday.

I like six feet under very much, but I have only seen the complete first two seasons and approximately half of the third season, although I have not even seen the first few episodes of the third season. ruth fisher, played by frances conroy, is by far my favourite character. for many reasons, I find her to be the most sympathetic and beautiful of all the characters in any of the episodes of the programme that I have seen so far.

I am the same i kind of got bored when Lisa and Nate got together.

Yes... since I am the thread starter and since I have clearly indicated that I am only at the beginning of season 2, if you could all kindly refrain from saying what is going to happen, that would be fucking fabulous.

You see, I am sitting here with a broken ankle, and watching DVDs is one of the only things I can do. I am very irrate with the situation in general, and if you ruin it by giving away plot twists, I will make it my life's mission to come and hurt you when I can walk again.

I like Ruth too, partly because she's so annoying. I also like David a LOT. Nate has the best knowing laugh/smile ever when the family is sitting around and someone says something uncomfortable. That is one of his redeeming qualities.

Nate is such a fucking whinge.

I really think the first series was the best. Is Brenda a psycho? Did she fuck Billy? Can Claire get any weirder? etc etc.

of all the seasons that I have seen so far, the first season is my favourite, but I would still like to see the rest.

six feet under is great. i'd really like to get a box set or something, because when I used to watch it i never got to see it all the time..it was always on so damn late and i had very early mornings back then! I always loved it when i saw it though..i'd quite fancy watching an episode right now i'd say!

series one was great, the funerals especially.

i watched the entire series in about a month earlier this year. i've never seen anything better on television in my life. i actually watched the 2nd season on demand first, and it got me hooked, then i went started over. the second season is extremely self-indulgent, but makes a lot of sense as the series progresses. the third and fourth seasons are far more expansive in terms of character development, especially the fourth. ruth is my favorite, especially when she's chilling with bettina. at first nate was actually my favorite but as time went on i fell for claire, she's the youngest and still makes far better choices than anyone else on the show. her and ruth, especially when ruth lets her hair down. i love the fact, like in real life, you can totally hate the characters one minute and love them the next.

i loved this show, i've seen every single episode at least once.

i related to brenda and nate. maybe that's because they are older and self obsessed? who knows. i think brenda gets more tolerable later in the series.

prolly my favourite show ever. i love brenda. want to watch the entire thing again. i hate ruth.

Oh, sorry I didn't read it properly. I haven't seen anything past season 2 so i didn't think I was giving anything away. BUT LISA DIES.

I thought it was alright, but I did think that every character on the show deserved everything that was coming to them, and then some. I did get sick of their awfulness fairly quickly. More deaths, and more painful. TV justice.

She's just so... joyless. Actually, I think that came to be my problem with the whole show in the end. I guess I'd pick her over the others, but I never really warmed to her.

yes. shes PIOUS and nosy and really meddling. i found her the most awful character out of everyone. the way that she treats george is appalling. her selfishness at every adverse situation (always thinking 'meeee first...how awful is it for meeeee') made me hate her from the start.

she ALWAYS treats david in a wierd way.
