i saw this movie for the first time last night. it came out in 02 but i believe it had some trouble with release and distribution because of its sex scenes. the copy i saw was asian and had the naughty bits pixelated.

i don't know if i liked the movie or not, but it has me thinking, which i guess is good. i'm debating whether or not the sex was gratuitous; could the same effect have been achieved without the young skater boi performing cunnilingus on his girlfriend's mom?

i can relate to clark in some ways because i think he's fascinated by youth culture and i am too. not so much that i want to know what the kids are into as much as i feel permanently mid twenties or like i relate cuz i got made fun of in high school for being a "freak" (totally normal by today's standard, i'd imagine). clark was in the movie for a quick second, he's super old and has been ravaged by too much hard living and bad skin. i think his son, matt, did the music. (apparently he's had an influence on his dad's movies.)

I saw it a while ago. I downloaded though so nothing was censored. The movie was not really good in my opinion mainly because sk8erz piss me off and it sucks when they're glamourized and made to look cool or fascinating when they are obviously the opposite. The character Tate was good though and his masturbation scene inspired me to finally try AEA using a ligature.

i'm a little disturbed that this movie "inspired" you to try AEA. plus that kid was totally gross. he was the one character that i couldn't stand.

I love how all of Larry Slarks movies feature young nudity.
