| | | FAO: UK Viewers The new series of Curb Your Enthusiasm begins tonight at 10:35pm on More 4.
If you do not watch it, expect to be socially ostracised for all eternity.
That is all.

| | | You would watch this show, wouldn't you? I find it kind of painful to watch...an awkward painful.

| | | First series and what I saw of the second were awesome, but what I've seen of later episodes just reminds me of how Peep Show changed in the last series. It's like, it's still funny, but it's not funny for any of the reasons that you liked it in the first place. |

There's nothing better than the slightly guilty feeling that comes with thinking that Larry is a completely insensitive arsehole, but still agreeing with almost everything he says.
Last night's episode was superb. Larry's method of getting out of going to parties was brilliant. It's nice to think that perhaps someone in the world puts that amount of time and thought into being as anti-social as possible.

Seems like there's way too many shows using that style of humour though. Can we have some normal boring entertaining shows, like just some naked chicks juggling or something? |

I can enjoy the odd humorously awkward situation like that within a typical sitcom, but I can't take an entire show based on it where you're bombarded with it. It's painful, really cringeworthy. It's a shame I can't bear it, b/c it is incredibly funny and a really excellent show.
I was thinking the same thing about the avoiding-parties episode. It's not a bad strategy to use. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
