| | | McCoy is 'the DA' now, the elected one. I don't know the story details because I'm not watching the new ones regularly, but Fred Thompson had to leave to attempt to run for president, because being on a tv show is technically 'air time' which has to be shared equally by candidates.
Since I haven't found a way to shorehorn it into any of the election threads in the politics section, when I explained this to my boyfriend, he asked why there couldn't just be 'equal Law and Order time,' where all candidates get to be on the show. Even though he's not doing so well, and will probably be gone after Feb. 5* (Thompson already conceded), Rudy has to be on this, because he's already been on SNL & Seinfeld, and he actually did, as a federal prosecutor, stage that arrest that happens all the time on Law & Order but almost never in real life, where the cops bust into the board room and make an Important Person do the perp walk.
*Today's New York Times reminds me that if I am wrong about this, I will probably soon lose my job, and be smeared in the papers, even though I am not famous.

Alana is the pretty girl who played Delko's sister/Caruso's wife on CSI Miami. Linues is the scourge of all humanity. Maybe Law and Order is ending in 2009? I can't see Waterston leaving before the show ends...it would be so pointless if he left and then they ended like a year later. Sometimes I see early episodes on the Law and Order rerun channel and i'm like "Ben Stone? Who's that fucker?"

I haven't watched L&O in ages. I think the last time I watched it was after Orbach passed. I became disinterested in the show after that. I do like SVU because of Chris Maloney. Sweet god that man is gorgeous...3 words...OZ nude scenes.
