I'll say yes to edward scissorhands, big fish, and beetlejuice. The rest I either don't care about, haven't seen or didn't like.

i think i like all of his stuff but i'd say that some are more watchable over and over again than others. Beetlejuice is one of my favourite films of all time and i've seen it god knows how many times, so that's number one obviously.

i absolutely adore Sleepy Hollow and Batman Returns, both of which i've seen about a million times each, but i could take or leave Batman. I think i found Jack Nicholson a little too frightening, even when i watch it now.
I remember liking Pee Wee's Big Adventure a lot, though it's been at least ten years since i last saw it. i'd quite like it on DVD actually. Ed Wood is pretty good but i don't think it would be half as good if Johnny Depp wasn't in it. Big Fish and Edward Scissorhands make me too upset to watch again even though i love them. i think i would love Nightmare Before Christmas if i had seen it as a child but as it is i only think it's good, not great. Planet of the Apes was kind of meh, as was Corpse Bride. Mars Attacks was shite, pretty much.

so basically:

love
Beetlejuice
Sleepy Hollow
Batman Returns
Edward Scissorhands
Pee Wee's Big Adventure
Big Fish

like
Ed Wood
Batman
Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
Nightmare Before Christmas

didn't like
Planet of the Apes
Mars Attacks
Corpse Bride

haven't seen Sweeney Todd but I'm pretty sure i'm going to like it because i think that it's one of the best stories ever.

sleepy hollow
ed wood

mars attacks
pee wee's big adventure

don't really care either way about the others, but there aren't any that i hate. i like something about all of his movies.

i just bought 'the melancholy death of oyster boy' the other day and it is soooo good.

Sleepy Hollow is the best especially the dresses.

I loved NBC as a little kid, my sister was obsessed with it and watched it every single day so I had to as well.

I really enjoyed the Corpse Bride actually, probably because I was so fond of NBC.

Edward Scissorhands is just darling.

I love the short Frankenweenie or whatever it was called? About the frankenstein dog <3

I am dying to see Sweeney Todd!

I want to be in a Tim Burton film I have black hair, am I allowed?

I don't hate any of his stuff...but I havn't seen Planet of the Apes or
Mars Attacks because I can imagine I'd hate them.
Batman scared me when I first watched it
and I remember thinking that Nightmare before Christmas was horrible and unnatural. They've grown on me.
I adore 'the melancholy death of oyster boy' and I have an book with audiotape of Nightmare Before Christmas which is far more entertaining than the film.

I hate little annoying emoish children's obsession with Tim Burton, it really bugs me but I guess thats cos I went through that stage myself. I find it mildly amusing that Claire's now stocks Nightmare before Christmas stuff for them though.

I don't hate any of them, but I'm a little saddened that I no longer get especially excited by news of new Burton projects. Particularly if they have bloody Johnny Depp in them.

There was a cool south bank show documentary on Tim Burton last night on ITV. He seems really sweet.
His films have a total marmite effect on me, in that I either love them or hate them
Love Edward Scissorhands
Batman Returns
Big Fish
Ed Wood
Beetlejuice

Hate Sleepy Hollow
Nightmare Before Christmas
Charlie and the chocolate factory
Planet Of The Apes

I seriously don't get how come people hate 'The Nightmare before Christmas' ?. I mean, that movie is like teh Tim Burton's masterpiece. Personally I LOVE 'Corpse Bride' (especially because I feel so related to Victor lol) and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. I think these movies are the ones you can watch and instantly realize that is a Burton film.

I didn't like 'Planet of the Apes'

I am OBSESSED with his Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The characters were all great as were the costumes and sets. I liked the songs, but I didn't love them. (I realize that the lyrics were from the Roald Dahl books, but it's the music I had an issue with. It was way too electronic at times.) Also, I didn't get Johnny Depp's accent cus in the childhood flashbacks he had an English accent. But then he grew up to have an American accent, although we never hear that he traveled to America at any point in his life...That was the only other minor issue (beside the Ooompa Loompa's music) that I felt was in the film.

Edward Scissorhands is very sad and beautiful but I cannot watch it often (I've seen it in full once actually) because I don't find it very engaging on the whole. It gets boring at parts.

The Nightmare Before Christmas was a favourite of mine when I was a child, and I watched it about three or four years ago for the first time since I was like 5 and I still really enjoyed it. So that one's still good...

Ed Wood was hilarious but it did move too slowly at times (for me at least).

I really didn't like Mars Attacks and I can't bring myself to see Planet of the Apes.

I only saw about half of one of Burton's Batman films (the one with Penguin and Cat Woman...that was a Burton one right?) and I thought it was okay, but my favourite Batman film is Batman and Robin with Clooney and Uma Thurman.

Beetlejuice is pretty great and I like Sleepy Hollow but I wish Christina Ricci wasn't in it...I like her in every other film I've seen her in, but not in that.

I must see Big Fish (huuuge Ewan McGregor fan, right here.) and I'm curious to see The Corpse Bride.

As for Sweeney Todd, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

So I guess Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sweeney Todd are my favourite Burton films, and Mars Attacks is the only one that I've seen which I truly hate.

yeah he seems alright. i've got a book that's basically a compilation of interviews with him, and his way of thinking is quite interesting.

the only burton films i've seen are ed scissorhands, sleepy hollow, ed wood, beetlejuice, the batman films and chaz and the chocolate factory. i love them all apart from charlie... it was funny, but really disappointing.

I don't like
Big Fish
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Planet of the Apes

I do like
Everything else, in particular Ed Wood, Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas, Vincent - early stop motion animation where the character from corpse bride stars. I liked The Corpse Bride too, especially the segment where they had a tom waits skeleton singing, i swear it was based on him.

can't wait for sweeney todd. alan rickman?
