| | | OT, but i got in a car accident yesterday. the guy that hit me was on his way to a movie and needed to use my phone to let his friends know he wouldn't be able to make it. we were standing around talking afterward and i asked him what movie he was going to see. he said "there will be blood" and i thought he was talking about our accident and the aftermath so i was like "wha?" and he was all "that's the name of the movie"... i had never heard of it, but now i may have to watch it. |

I really want to see ittttttt. | not strange at all, pretty much to the point. this is not some avant garde movie or anything of that nature, no confusing plots, i'll def see it twice but not cause I missed anything. This is one of the best american made films ever, period. |

| | | I saw There Will Be Blood about two weeks ago, and all I can say is OVERRATED, and that includes DDL's performance. It's a lot like the film itself, a technical achievement, but not much more than that. Too contrived. No Country for Old Men, on the other hand, gutted me. |

| | | I like No Country For Old Men better. I think it was damn near perfect. TWBB had many flaws but I STILL really liked it.
However, BleedingHeart, my mom saw NCFOM and TWBB and she LOVED No Country but really disliked twbb.
I want to see There Will Be Blood again, though. There's A LOT of stuff in it. |

| | I'm debating whether I should go see There Will Be Blood or go see No Country For Old Men again. I haven't stopped thinking about that movie. But I love Daniel Day Lewis.
I was hoping this thread might make the decision for me.

I was hoping this thread might make the decision for me. | Well, if you've seen No Country and not There Will Be Blood, go ahead and see TWBB. It's extremely good. EXTREMELY intense, too. | |
