| | | top 10 indie films What are you're top 10 indie films? When I say indie's I think we all have a good idea of what that means. No major studio's such as Universal, New Line, Columbia and what not. Personally I don't even like to count movies by Focus Features which are essentially decently budgeted dramas that Universal doesn't want to pump too much money into. Anyways, post your list...
1. Imaginary Heroes (2004)
2. Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001)
3. Transamerica (2005)
4. L.I.E (2001)
5. Ghost World (2001)
6. Different For Girls (1996)
7. Prey for Rock and Roll (2003)
8. Bully (2001)
9. Freeway (1996)
10. 11:14 (2003)
There's a ton more I love but these are my definate favorites. |

| | | I've seen so many good indies, I couldn't whittle it down to ten.
I just saw a good little indie called "New York Doll". It's about Arthur "Killer" Kane, the bassist for the New York Dolls, who became a Mormon after the Dolls broke up and his life fell apart. It's a sweet little movie and it has some great people in it like Morrissey, Chrissey Hynde, David Johannsen (of course).
Check it out, peeps! |
