Juno (Ellen Page) is a Mid-Western highschooler, who decides one day, out of boredom or curiosity, to have sex with her friend Bleeker (Michael Cera), a member of her school's track team. She likes him well enough, but isn't hung up on him. This one time encounter results in Juno's pregnancy. She and her best friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby) decide to take control of the situation by browsing for prospective adoptive parents in the local Pennysaver, and Juno settles on seemingly perfect, affluent couple Mark and Vanessa (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner.)
it was HYSTERICAL. best movie of the year. seriously.
why cant she just be fucking horny? oh wait , it's because she's female.
Or it was a thinly veiled excuse because she actually has feelings for the guy in the movie?
I just came back from seeing Juno. It's a great movie. The soundtrack is brilliant. And there is one part where the adoptive father and Juno have a jam session- they play "Doll Parts". It melted my heart.
I saw it last night and absolutely fell in love with it. It was really cute.. that's really the only word I can think of that describes it. It'll be a good addition to my dvd collection when it comes out.
Who? Juno? She's supposed to be a 16 year old outcast type girl. Jeans. Shirts. Hoodies. Sneakers. I don't understand how you expect someone in the role of PREGNANT teen to dress.

i was an outcast and i dressed trendy. people made fun of me for it. they wear john deer and walmart.
My mom saw this last night and as soon as she came back she said she wants to take my sister and I to it. I really want to see it as well. She said there were times everyone was laughing so hard they couldn't hear the next line in the movie.
I also like the girl who does the soundtrack, she opened for Bright Eyes when I saw them awhile ago.
I didn't care for this. It's just too damn hip. It makes me feel like an out of touch square old man and I'm only 21. It has it's moments and will surely be overrated by most people for the next year or so.
