My favorite episode? It's so hard to pick. Anytime Jim is messing with Dwight is fine with me! |

| | | Why the fuck does the US always have to make their own versions of UK shows?
The UK Office is brilliant, no one can touch that. |

| | | The US Office is dumbed down and kind of lame. I feel like it should have canned laughter. They can make better stuff than that.
The UK one is great. I'm not saying that because I'm British, because the shows I like are mostly American blah blah blah asnid;oed-=4£. |

| | | Honestly, though? I've seen it a few times and it makes me cringe a little. I do love the UK version.
I'll give it another try. |

they're both executive producers of the us version. so yeah, in a sense they're touching themselves. |

| | | On the flip side, I honestly can't picture a U.S. version of "Extras". I don't think they could find an American Ricky Gervais for that role. The "U.S." Office however, is brilliant. I adore the American characters. I don't see the canned laughter thing at all. I've worked in plenty of offices in my millions of years of roaming this earth and they capture it brilliantly. (almost too well!) I just pray that this show never jumps the shark. That would be a shame. |

I LOVE the US 'The Office' it's hysterical....but an understated hysterical.
I love it....I thought the show started out slow, but had a real turn around point when the men of the office got sent down to the wherehouse so the women could have a 'womens meeting' and how the wherehouse was basically trashed by the idiot Michael....I was dying....that's my favorite episode so far..... |

But the one thing that bothers me - i loved Dawn and Tim, but i just can't seem to care enough for Jim and Pam somehow... |

| | | I really liked the UK one. The best episode was the team training one, with David Brent on guitar.
I can quote the whole thing. The best scene is when he's talking about 'Texas'. Hehe. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
