who would you want to direct your life story?

they can be dead. i mean, there probably won't really be a movie made of your life, so there's no harm in hiring a dead person to direct.

I had to think long and hard about this, would I want guns and shit and cool music like tarantino or would I want a fun and frivolous John Hughes affair like home alone and the breakfast club? But when i really consider it, it has to be Hands down Speilberg all the way.
It would be a lovely fluffy heartwarming affair with that 80's soft focus glow about it with the most incredible emotive score, using strings . It would have strong undercurrents and plot emphasis on the beauty and naievty of youth and all the heartache along the way.
Basically it would rock like E.T and The Goonies and I would insist on cameos by Drew Barrymore and Corey Feldman.

John Woo, or Kubrick.

Possibly both - how would that go!
