Ja ja ja! We watched Lola Rennt in German class at school and I thought 'yaaaaaaaaawn' but it was brilliant, I ended up going out and buying it and now I watch it all the time. I did my a-level coursework on it (haha what a slacker, everyone else was writing about history and brecht and all that) errm it was called "to what extent is lola responsible for her actions?" (lol) and I spent 5000 words clutching at straws like "her mum's an alcohololic...so she had an awful childhood...so she can't help how she's turned out" and "she's in love! love makes you crazy! so she can't help what she does!".
