| | | i stand alone is a fked up movie i first saw it a couple of years ago, but i think it says a lot about my mental state that when i saw it i thought it was kind of tame. i'd just seen irreversible and was on a gaspar noe kick. now i can't even think about watching irreversible (banned in nz) and i stand alone seems like an exercise in the sadism of the human condition. the scene were he is punching the stomach of a pregnant woman is unbearable. |

| | | God, I saw I Stand Alone first and in comparison with Irreversible it IS tame. I can appreciate the way Irreversible was filmed but god I will NEVER watch it again. That movie was absolutely horrible to exeperience. I'd take I Stand Alone any day.
Oh another one of those movies I never want to see again is Happiness. Geez, who sits down and thinks of this stuff.

| | If anyone here has seen the Guinea Pig series they'd probably throw up after 10 minutes of it.
Then again, if it's a real snuff film, it beats out an ultra-gory fake snuff film, even if it is tame. But still, Flower of Flesh and Blood was just the ultimate in fucked up.
Can we talk about something else? Now all I can hear is the samurai sword... ... |
