Justin: I Challenge MTV To Play More Videos

I think he's awesome now.

So he wins his first award and his thank you speech is simply "I challenge MTV to play more music videos."

And THEN he wins his second award, given to him by the cast of The Hills, and his last words for his thank you speech is "MTV needs to play more videos and less reality shows, we don't want to see the Simpsons." (boy, he must have not seen MTV in a long time).

I thought it was hilarious and I've been waiting for someone to say that.

I hope this gets some sort of press in the scathing award reviews that are going to pop up tomorrow.

its not awesome he said that because mtv made him. they played his boyband videos non stop and then his solo work was shoved down the viewers throats too. if they played a bunch of other videos the 12 year old trl fans might forget about him and he wouldnt even be at the vma's

More videos, fewer videos, I think it's too late for MTV anyway. But if I had to choose, I'd choose "more videos" as well. And continue to watch for about five minutes a day.

Growing up I enjoyed music oriented shows. They had a lot of shows that had to do with music. Fanatic, Diary, The Grind...how do people not miss shows like this?

Now they don't have any.

I liked Music shows too. And we barely had any here. But MTV is beyond redemption. It'll take a whole new channel. NZ has a cool one called "Alt" that is pretty much bearable. At times. They have a "grunge hour". Rawk.
