'Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other; to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.' Imdb link
The movie is starting to do the festival rounds now so if anyone has seen it then please share with the rest of the class, or if you just want to express your love for all things Wes Anderson then that is also most welcome. |

| | | The only other Wes film I've seen is the Royal Tennenbaums but this looks like it has the same lighting/colours which I love. What else should I watch by him? |

| | im so upset i didnt get to see this movie.
3 screenings and one was only for the press, during the gala one i was at a business dinner and the other one i wasnt even at the lido.
everyone that has seen it has told me its absolutely great, and that esp the first hour is pure pure genius. i cant wait to see it.
at the festival they screened a short movie starring natalie portman that ''introduced'' the movie, i doubt they'll show it in theaters and it saddens me since i hear its GREAT.
i'll def go see it as soon as it'll be in theaters. anyway hedgehog you should see the life acquatic of steve zissou, starring owen wilson and bill murray as well. i personally prefer the royal tenenbaums but its still worth seeing. |

| | | I kept hearing the title of this movie come up in press as Owen Wilson's latest project, but I didn't realize it was directed by Wes Anderson. Now I'm going to have to see it. |

| | | I saw it Saturday and my friends and I really liked it. However it may be my least favorite of all of his films. I liked the short film a lot. I will rent DL when it comes out on dvd.
