| | | Good Romantic Comedies? I know many of you probably think there's no such thing, but let's not set the bar too high. It doesn't have to be high art or anything, just something watchable, even laughable at times... (No, this isn't my favorite movie genre or anything but I'm moving to another city next weekend and I want to have something to cheer me up in the (first) evenings while I'm homesick and miss my boyfriend )
For example, I just saw Music and Lyrics and thought it was kinda cute. Drew Barrymore is adorable.
And I have seen the most common ones, Notting Hill and so on.. Old movies are very welcome!
And no J.Lo please |

| | | I had a movie marathon everynight for a week almost the other week. One night I watched (i know its not in the catergory but it might make you feel all happyclub) Forrest Gump, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, and Notting Hill.
What about Love Actually? |

What about Love Actually? | Great suggestions but I've seen all of those (Forrest Gump for about 10 times ) Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind is wonderful, and the rest are cute too.
And yeah I kinda thought I could extend this thread to not-completely-crappy-feel-good-movies in general anyway
Is Family Stone any good? It has SJP in it doesn't it? |

| | | Family Stone... Hmmm, I think I was disappointed with it. It really borderlines on tacky at the end. But maybe?
Have you considered renting a boxset from the video store? |

| | Box set... Mmm don't really remember seeing such box sets in video stores around here. But I'll look for them.
Anyway, I'm not sure if there even is a video store near the place I'm moving in (it's not exactly in the city centre) and I don't have a car. I mostly just use torrent anyway. That's why I'm preparing so early, that I'll have my computer full of cheer-up-movies for september
But keep it coming, if something comes up to your mind.

| | Would SATC cheer you up? Season 6?
What about that old Meg Ryan ( ) movie 'Addicted To Love'? My mum loved it so I do remember watching it a few times when I was younger.
If you want REAL CHEER UP movies, get The Mighty Ducks trilogy. |

| | Wedding Singer and Crashers and all of those I could look them up.. Isn't Wedding Crashers the one with Owen Wilson? I've wanted to see that.
I've seen 10 things I hate About You ages ago. Isn't Heath Ledger in it? I had such a crush on him back then lol... I should give it a re-run
I've seen almost every SATC episode, many of them more than once but they last... Is season 6 the last one? Happy endings all around...
Meg Ryan doesn't bother me... I've seen Sleepless In Seattle and You've Got Mail but no others I think. |

| | | Isn't there a movie with Drew and Adam Sandler? Is it worth any?
Also is Punch Drunk Love (also starring Adam Sandler) a good one? I've heard praises... And I know it's not a very traditional romantic comedy. | |
