I've been really bed-ridden lately, and out of desperation to cure my boredom, I turned to the TV (which I normally despise watching minus a few select shows), and decided to give The X-Files a try after ignoring the show for the past 10 years. What a great f*cking show! I am really enthralled in each minute of it.. and David Duchovny is my idea husband. Yummo. I'd like that with some EVOO. K, enough.

Anyone else a fan? I'm thinking of buying the DVDs.

THE X-FILES= BEST SHOW EVER

You should totally watch it from the beginning. The last 2 seasons are not that great but still good.

Best seasons are 4 and 5 IMO. Nothing can beat the mytharc.

Oh, and BTW there is a new movie coming out (supposedly) Chris Carter says he has a new script written and that he's sending it to the actors and the want to start filming before the beginning of next year but they have to get the approval from Fox first. It's going to be a stand-alone though and have nothing to do with the myth-arc. But they cannot completely ignore the mytharc because of how the series ended.

I have all the DVD sets, they're totally worth it. OH AND SEE THE MOVIE TOO, (which is in between seasons 5 and 6) or else you'll be a little confused.

I used to watch it alot from the ages of 9-12. I saw up until season....four, I think. Good show.

it's a fantastic show and really made a big impact on television as a whole. I'm re-watching them at the moment too, on season 2.

One thing I love about the show is the convenience of it. It is one of those shows that is absolutely PERFECT to watch when you wake up at 2 AM and can't go back to sleep. That with a bowl of ice cream and a hot bath afterwards, HEAVEN.

Ha same, i caught in on sky but they were pretty much showing random episodes from random seasons so i bought the season one box set. Really brilliant show.

I used to love that show. Ahh, nostalgia... If I could afford it I'd buy the DVD boxes. My favorites were season 1 and 2. Nice for you that you get to see them for the first time

Watched it religiously from day 1 until it ended. My cousin was a Duchovany tard too. Though I wish someone would donate Nina a GOOD X-files avatar 50x50. haha, she really deserves one...for the unabashed tardness for x-files!!

Though since the show ended, its been all about C.S.I. now.
Good but really, just not the same.

i met Krycek, Langly (the blonde Lone Gunman), Mr. X, and Frank Spotnitz at an Xfiles convention back in 1998. i didn't get the "ticket" to meet Gillian, but she stood from 6 - 8 feet away from me on stage and we made eye contact and shit.

i loved that show since i first saw it in 1995 and i will always love it.

i'm going to rent seasons 8 and 9 and then buy the DVDs one of these days to complete my dvd collection.

I was borderline obsessed with the show when I was thirteen. yes, I had a hardcore crush on Duchovny, but I was also totally in love with Gillian Anderson and didn't realize it at the time. my favorite episodes came from the third season, especially the one with the psycho twin girls.

X Files= love.

Seriously one of the best shows ever. I agree that the last 2 seasons weren't the greatest, but I think they're still worth watching, especially since most of the last season was devoted to the mytharc. It gets a bad rap because Mulder wasn't there, but the stories really were good.

And the new movie is coming out next year!!!!!!!!!
