Here's the story of another one of those selfish New York Jews.
For the past month or so I've been wading through "TVDays", Ira Gallen's collection of vintage TV shows and commercials, which he's been compiling for years and had uploaded onto youtube. He must be having copyright problems, because the jerks closed out his account there, twice. So now some of them are on google video. Check them out.
Tennessee Ernie Ford and the Peanuts for Ford Motors, 1960:
Mike Wallace interviews Thurgood Marshall:
Frank Sinatra pushes Chesterfield Cigarettes:
Ira tells his story, including how he got footage to the Clio Awards thanks to a drug deal gone wrong:

I wondered if the title was just a way of making people look at the thread. Because those videos (what I could bear to sit through) were FUCKING BORING.

no, but the filmmaker is (I couldn't sit through the whole thing though, maybe I missed all of the exciting parts?), and the ad for the fords was.
I didn't watch one of them at all because I really don't see the point. Marshall, yes. Frank Sinatra selling cigarettes, meh. what does any of this have to do with jews anyway?
