"Santa Barbara" appreciation thread

I was with some friends the other day and the subject of soaps came up, and we were talking about the glory that was known as "Santa Barbara". Who can forget the wobbly scenery, the wooden acting, the high school students who looked about 25, or the classic earthquake scene where tal*** powder was used to simulate the crumbling of the buildings? Or how could we forget "Dominic", the woman who spent the entire run of the show wearing a beard, attempting to pass herself off as a man, I mean, WTF was THAT all about?

"The Bold And The Beautiful" was worthy, but in my opinion, in terms of awfulness and high camp, "Santa Barbara" wins hands down and deserves an appreciation thread.

Let me think about this, because there was another actress who replaced Robin and took over the role of "Kelly Capwell-Perkins-Conrad". I do remember in the beginning, Kelly was a suspect in the murder of Channing Capwell Jr., but to be 100% honest, I missed about 6 months of the show and am out of the loop on this!
