| | | See No Evil-Moors Murders So, it's finally being aired tonight on UTV at 9.30pm.
Anyone else been looking forward to it?
For those of you who don't know, it's a kind of docudrama based on the whole Ian Brady and Myra Hindley(childkillers) fiasco. Look here for info. |

| | | Thanks for reminding me this is on, I was convinced it was going to be shown on Wednesday.
I'm looking forward to seeing it, and I'm glad the families of the victims approve of it. |

| | Sean Harris is playing Ian Brady...he always plays strange characters, it seems. Tell me if this film is interesting!

| | | Well....I saw the first part last night. In brief, it was good, characters were interesting, Maxine Peake did a good job of making Myra seem human. And her gradual disintegration was portrayed as well too. Second episode on tonight, 9-10.30, UTV/ITV. |

| | | I saw it last night.I thought it was really well made. I liked the way it focused more on Ian s and Maura s relationship with Maureen and David rather than trying to reconstruct them murdering the children. |

Maxine Peake let me infront of her in the que in Paperchase once for no apparent reason, so she goes down in my books as pretty cool. |

Look here for info. | I watched it last night and i thought it was a good thing that they have got all this out to people that their is still one child missing BUT that lady and her boyfriend are sick! my mates told me about it so i put it on TV but i was so shocked to see how gross they are!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just wanted to point that out! |

| | | it is well made, and it's good that they've chosen to tell the story from david's perspective.
but it's so odd seeing them being played by actors, going about their ordinary lives before anyone knew what they were doing. hearing someone say "i'm just going round to myra's.." is so strange. ugh. |

| | | I thought it was good, I'm glad they focused on the characters rather than the actual murders.
Seems like the second part is going to focus on Myra's brother-in-law; to this day it seems some people still think he was involved. |

| | | Wasn't Maxine Peake GOOD?
I only ever think of her as funny (Dinnerladies...Shameless...). She was excellent in this, I thought. I only saw the second half, but still. |

The families are...I dunno. Better people about this than I could ever be. I've seen a few of them doing interviews before. And I remember (well, I don't remember, but I read) when The Smiths' 'Suffer Little Children' came out, as soon as they realised it had been written out of being genuinely affected by it, the families supported the record. I just can't imagine how they've done it. I read Maxine Peake saying when she was in costume and makeup, she couldn't go near the relatives. |

I really feel sorry for Keith Bennets mother, every so often when Brady decides he's going to give more clues as to where the poor kid was buried they interview her on North West tonight, all she has ever wanted to do is bury her son for piece of mind but I do not think his body will ever be found. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
