Bounty Hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman Arrested

TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman has been arrested in Hawaii.

Chapman, star of the A&E reality series Dog the Bounty Hunter was arrested Thursday morning at his home for extradition to Mexico, along with two members of his bounty hunting team. This is in connection with his arrest of fugitive Andrew Luster in 2003, according to TMZ.com.

The heir to the Max Factor cosmetics fortune was convicted of a series of rapes in 2003. The "Dog's" team of bondsmen took Luster into custody on June 18, 2003, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. He was then returned to the U.S. and imprisoned, where he is serving a 124-year term.

Chapman and the two other men, which include his son, were briefly jailed in Mexico for the incident because bounty hunting is considered a crime in the country.

Duane "Dog" Chapman was recently in the news after being sued by 29-year-old Simaile 'Cisco' Lutu in August. Lutu claims the reality TV star mistakenly took him for a bail jumper.

Why was he arrested now if this happened 3 years ago?
