| | | the buffy movie is so underrated i still prefer the tv show, but this isn't what i would consider a bad movie at all. i hear it's been disowned and everything.
it's bad in parts and brilliant in others. here are my favorite scenes:
5. divinyls training montage
4. buffy & merrick talk about jobs, her keen fashion sense
3. buffy & vampire on basketball court
2. merrick death scene
1. pike surprises buffy at the dance
kristy and luke are hot together. the scene at the end where they dance again and neither one wants to lead is another nice touch. |

| | | I love the movie. I don't get the appeal of the TV show. It's so corny. At least the movie doesn't try sooo haaard like the show does.
Dont worry, they can't come in unless you invite them.
I already did. They're seniors! |

| | | I much prefer it to the fucking TV show. Which in some circles is a controversial opinion. And one I enjoy sharing with people.
I mean seriously, the movie has Donald Sutherland! It does run out of steam towards the end, but then I didn't think the TV series ever gathered any steam to run out of.

| | | Well I am one of the few (chosen ones) who dislike the show and really like the movie.
I mean that movie really hammered home why Dylan was so much hotter than Brandon. |

This thread makes me want to seek a copy out in some dingy rental store that got lost in time with VHS and slinkies. |

My goose is totally loose" and you left out "and come on all your hog fans, and come on all your hog fans, and shake your caboose, and shake your caboose" (I can't believe I remember this, how embarrassing)
I used to watch this movie regularly, and I haven't seen it in a long time, but the Divinyls training scene has stuck in my head for years, I loved it (especially the part where she kicks the punch bag and it hits her on it's way back haha) |

| | | i was passing by the comic shop last night and noticed a buffy's mom action figure on display in the window.
an action figure of buffy's fucking mom!!!! i really wanted it, but it came in a set with buffy and dawn, and was priced for people who feverishly collect this shit.
and i couldn't give it a good home at the moment anyway.
if i ever make any money, i might buy as many buffy figures as i can find off of ebay.
then spend freakish amounts of time arranging and rearranging them on my coffee table.
the thought of it alone makes me serene. it will be my version of japanese gardening. |

| | | I used to hate the show but my husband's bf and my bf are huge fans so when we saw the box set on Amazon for $149 we got it. It is my fave show now...we are in Season 7 and I can't believe that I missed it while it was happening.
We are now waiting for Angel to make a big box set so we can watch it too.
I am in love with Angel and Spike.
SO GOOD!
I even bought the comics but I am waiting until the dvds are done until we crack em open! |
