I loved the way Tony showed his crew he was still the boss and not weak and then puked in the bathroom

It seems kind of "Clockwork Orange", because he always seems to puke when he gets violently angry!

i think he puked because he exherted himself a lot in order to kick that guys ass. he just got out of the hospital so he's probably still weak and recovering and whatnot.

I like that episode. But if the guy was crazy and serious he would been able to kill Tony. So not too bright. I wish Vito was there when Tony was looking for him so he could fought that retarded fuck.

That last episode was my favorite of the new season so far. I think Tony puked because he overexerted himself and I think a part of him, a very deep part of him and a not so deep one as of late, realizes what a scumbag he is. It was so beautifully rendered. He just pukes. Then he looks at himself in the mirror with some shame and then he grins and is so fucking proud of himself for kicking that guys ass and then he vomits blood again. Brilliant.

This Vito storyline is weird...what was with that 3:00am call to Silvio? Was it supposed to be some sort of alibi?

I thought he was trying to figure out if the word was already out that he had been spotted in a gay bar.

i almost felt bad for him. but not rly. & yes i think he offed himself.

this season has been horrible for me to watch. i think because the characters have turned real for me? or something. i don't know. but it's like watching a trainwreck every sunday @ 9.

No way could he go to any of those people for that. It was a big deal that Tony was going to a shrink - he didn't tell anyone until he had to - and Junior became a laughing stock because he willingly and skillfully went down on his girlfriend.

I tend to think he didn't kill himself, if only because they just had a suicide. And the Vito character’s been built up a lot to just disappear this early.

yeah i understand how the mafia works, he was just so vulnerable. & i tend to think Skyy is correct. but this season has gotten really weird. it's like the characters & the audience have been running with the mafia mentality for so long, & then that happens to tony... something you always predicted may happen but never really could prepare for it, & it broke every one of them & us as an audience as well.

& the offing of vito is probably just my wishful thinking.

That makes the most sense. Now I feel dumb.

It's funny/shocking that they made Vito gay. I mean, he's the one I'd least suspect. I remember in the second episode when he was talking with Janice about the reason the other guy committed suicide, and he said something like "maybe he was gay, and wasn't able to talk to anyone about it". That sort of makes me think he did himself in.

I just read an interview the actor (cannot remember his name) that plays Vito. It was the actor's idea to make Vito gay and David Chase loved the idea. Way back when, one of the enforcers for the Gambino family was openly gay. No one ever harassed him because he was very good at killing people. (I'll look for the article)

The actor that plays Vito wanted to make his character stand out from the rest. Without the Vito-is-Gay storyline, the character would have remained on the sidelines, a few lines here and there.

His name is Joe something I think. I heard him on a radio interview on Monday morning right after that episode and he was so funny. And he said he waddles when he walks cause his hips are really really bad and he just got double hip replacement surgery

They were so funny doing the last minute wedding plans. Notice how they
all sat there chain-smoking just like dad! Ginny and Allegra struggling with
their weight while the younger sister is deathly skinny. Johnny's character
just maintains such calm demeaner and the end really sucked for him.
I'm glad that Tony is going to help him out though.

Christopher: "Allegra, isn't that a cold medicine?"
Paulie: "It means happiness in Italian!" (grimaces)
