I've heard it described as pretentious, dated and only good as a relic of its time, but I disagree. It's a puzzle you could spend years decoding. In other words, just my kind of movie.
i recently had the pleasure of watching a few less-than-B flicks.
The Black Dahlia Murders... my god, we didn't even watch it, it was so bad. we took it back to Hastings and demanded a new movie.
Goth... that one was SO FUCKING BAD WE LOVED IT LOLOLOL!! the filming was awful, the plot was pathetic, and the acting was a complete joke! but god it was fun.
My favourite film is an independent one about young guys, and it's really slow and mostly just reagular talk. I loved and needed the slowness and i recognize so much cause I'm young.
But everyone born before the eighties hates it. So does alot of people my age. Dumb people.
Though maybe it shouldnt go in here, cause it's also very loved by many, even though disliked by most.

Trapped - awful movie, but I love Courtney's scene at the beginning.
My Life With Morrissey - admittedly a pretty bad movie, but I do own it. The first half of it is pretty funny.
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me - For some reason it got terrible reviews from fans and critics alike upon its release, but it's the only Lynch movie I can just watch over and over again, and not get bored of it.
I watched White Chicks. I laughed. I know it's shit, but it's a comedy and I did laugh, so does that mean I like it?
Oh, and Under the Cherry Moon. I love it.

Damn straight it is! I'd let Dr. Herbert West do stuff to me.
I love Italian exploitation, especially the post-apocalyptic kind. Mark Gregory is my favorite Italian exploitation actor and I'll watch anything he's in

Re-Animator is a genuinely good horror film, and the actors, particularly Jeffery Combs, put in great performances. And unlike a majority of '80s horror, Re-Animator actually has a film score, sans synthesizers and '80s rock/new wave tunes.
