man, i LOVE that movie. who cares if its just a big budget remake of 'el mariachi', the action is cheesy, and the personal stories are thinner than antonio's attempt to make his spanish sound mexican....... NO MATTER, its BRILLIANT!!!

And I love the film Clue...everyone I know that has seen it thinks its hilarious but there's only one well-known actor in it (Tim Curry) and it's so obscure and alot of people are put off because it's based on the board game.
I also ADORE the films Dick(kirsten dunst.watergate scandal. deep throat), Bring it on and legally blonde
Road Trip. I don't know what it is about it... I don't find that any of the other "teen" comedies from that early 00's era have much rewatch power, but this one just makes me smile.
Clueless, too. They're both great movies for when I just want to vegetate for a couple of hours.
I don't think a film having "stars" in it is testiment to it's greatness, really!
Take foreign, art-house films for instance. Their general lack of celebrity and mainstream film making is both refreshing and creatively liberating.
Saying that though, I can safely say that I depise movies like Wedding Crashers, Mean Girls et al. They're insulting to what little intelligence a Hollywood audience has left...

I love a lot of foreign and artsy films, but I also enjoyed Wedding Crashers and Mean Girls. Not every film has to be deep and meaningful...sometimes you just want a good laugh. And I think Mean Girls was pretty perceptive in an over-the-top, humourous way...it was written by Tina Fey, after all.

Terrible film, but worth it for the guest stars & Richard E. Grant as the tour manager.
Actually, its not really that bad once you've seen it a few times.
I saw Spiceworld in the theatre with my friend...we were already in our 20s but we had an ironic love for the Spice Girls. I thought the film had some funny moments.
