there's also this one called harsh times which i have to admit was a little strang there was this guy who had been in the marines and came back all fucked up and having wierd dreams etc... and they drive him insane he also drinks does pot etc which does not help his cause but he ands up threatening to kill a his best mate and girlfriend etc and eventually he ends up makinhg his best mate shoot him in the head and so on.

Return to Oz disturbed me as a kid too! And my family used to watch that all the time. It was mainly that lady the lady that kept all those heads. Boy was she creepy. Requiem for a Dream disturbed me. The rape scenes in the Accused and Boys Don't Cry disturbed me. Those Larry Clark movies Kids and Bully disturbed me just seeing kids that fucked up! The bum behind the restaurant in Mulholland Drive always disturbed me. And that scene at the end of Heavenly Creatures when Melanie Lynsky and Kate Winslet kill Sarah Peirce. Good god that was disturbing the way the lady is so happy and blissfully unaware of what happens and the music the whole buildup to the murder and the cry the mother lets out when she is struck by the brick and that whole murder scene was just completely disturbing to me.

I saw a movie called Holocaust porn or island or sth once... I'm not kidding. It was soooooo weird. People on an island and they were really skinny and they were beaten by this one guy and stuff. very very disturbing.... I only watched parts of it.

THANK YOU! I heard about this movie, like, 8 years ago from some groovy hipsters who were talking about how they could only watch one 5 minute scene from it, because it was so completely terrifying and disturbing to them. I've been wanting to see it ever since, but I forgot the name...

That movie was utterly dismal. I mean, how many hours can one sit and watch some guy and his son just get fucked over repeatedly, only to finally succeed within the last 5 minutes of the movie?

The Green Mile (the scene where the French guy gets killed).
Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ (kept my head down through half of it with the blood and all).
The Hills Have Eyes (Remake) (Almost had heart failure the first time I went to see it, so I went three more times ).

I love that movie but I have to look away during the torture - very cringeworthy. (I think I read somewhere that Rob Zombie had to do the same when he viewed it.)

It didn't disturb me but I couldn't sit through all of "Dead or Alive" (the Takashi Miike one, not the video game movie). I had to watch something else after the poopy bathtub scene.
