Kind of messed up the plot line for me. |
I'm sure the FBI knows more or less exactly what happened to her, they just don't have any proof. I don't see how it was any more unrealistic than any other murder in the show - no witnesses, apparently no body found (I've assumed they buried it in a safe place, we've seen them do that before), car in long-term parking at the airport. There's no more proof she's dead than there is proof that she ran away. Although, seeing the fallout at the FBI would have been nice. Adrianna was never a huge thing for me though. I was never sorry to see her, I wasn't bored by her storyline, and it was upsetting when she died, but overall I thought the end worked, and I didn't really miss her.
I've been thinking about AJ. Did the army thing not make sense to anyone else based on the way he seemed to be going politically? He was being annoying as hell, and doing a Standard College Radical Thing (ow, it makes me wonder how close to being that annoying I was) then suddenly he wants to join the armed forces? I wonder if I underestimate the degree to which he was scared and felt he needed to overcome it. His home life isn't that safe either. And he never addressed that before he went right back to being vapid.
