We went to see this last night.
excellent but i did wonder if it was a little too close in it's clichedness to that higher learning with michelle pfiefer.
i don't know.
main character had the BEST male wardrobe ever. yum oh hotness delish

and drey was the epitome of cool. she was so honest and cool.
anyone else seen it?

i was really trying to convince my friend to go to this but instead we're going to see that australian film about dancing. forget what its called.

I saw this on Monday night. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I loved Ryan Gosling, but then ending just seemed a little rubbish to me.

Yeah I don't remember the ending, was it trying too hard to be semi-happy ending?

Great movie!!

i seen this a few weeks ago it exemplifies how someone has issues and experiences and will do whatever they can to try and shield someone else from getting too caught up in their world and making the same (and similar)mistakes.ryan did all he could for the girl-his student.he delivered a moving inspiring performance.

i cant even remember the ending so i guess it didnt stick with me.
but i remember his drug binges and wahtnot, i thought he was really good. not to much ridiculously sexy.

It was pretty good. I mean the acting was great and Ryan Gosling really was very even for a crackhead, but something about it was a bit rubbish at the same time?!
This is the one he got the Oscar nomination for right?
I need to maybe watch again without interrupting phone calls and cigarette breaks. It's also one of those you have to be in the mood for. It took a little while for the shaky camera effects to stop annoying me aswell.
