| | | Ryan Gosling I thought he was really talented when I first saw him in The Believer. He was like 18 or something when he made that film. And just like with Joaquin, I saw a great talent potential, great charisma in this young man. He then peeked my interest when he dated Sandra Bullock for 2 years, I mean it was a very WTF kind of May-December romance but cute nevertheless, then he switched to the pretty Rachel McAdams. I mean that MTV awards kiss was sexy. I watched his other films since the Believer and I wish he made more films, but since the recognition he got with Half Nelson, maybe we can see him on screen more. So now he is back with The Fracture. He was really charismatic in it and I also enjoyed Anthony Hopkins more than any other films he's been in in the past few years. The film itself is mediocre but those two were good in it...
He was on Ellen last week and was trying to teach her how to salsa...He got brownie points for that. Salsa dancing is hot, always.
Anyway, just a thread for Mr.Gosling. My tadpole boy. |

His acting is so good..like it's real because he doesn't do the usual acting tropes and has an interesting kind of i don't care attitude/recklessness. |

I thought he was good and I like Michelle Williams a lot, but I don't even remember it much and I wasnt even drunk.
I like "Murder By Numbers".
Not familiar with a lot of the other films mentioned here, but my friend was telling me about one similar to "American History X" that's meant to be good.
Which one is that?!

A young Jewish man develops a fiercely anti-Semitic worldview. Based on the true story of a KKK member in the 1960s who was revealed to be Jewish by a New York Times reporter.
| I didn't like Murder by Numbers at all. Was he dating Sandra Bullock then? I can't believe I missed that! |

There have been many pappi photos like them making out in a hotel balcony in Cannes (also red carpet photos where he attended her premieres with her), plus both of them acknowldged the relationship in legit interviews. Sandra opened up about it in a Marie Claire interview (I read it but i can't remember exactly whether it was Bazaar or Marie Claire), saying how zen he is unlike her, etc. And Hugh Grant, a friend of Sandra's, apparently teased her by referring to him as "the child", like "how is the child doing?" kinda thing, ha. Yeah, he and Rachel are cute, but if they really have split up, then I would be curious to see who he will hook up with next. Anyway, he is a really good actor who has lots to offer with his talent, so I am looking forward to more movies with him in it.

| | | ^ Lol! I think Hugh had a thing for Sandra for a while there! I haven't seen Half Nelson either, but I heard Ryan's meant to be great in it. I dunno if it's been released here yet. |

| | I think I found his myspace addie: click here. On ONTD someone gave the myspace addie for his band. The top friend on it was "Motel". When you go to the profile, it's a picture of his tattoo (an unimpressive tattoo at that) and the description fits as well, but of course it's set to private, so anyone who has a myspace account should try to have him add them by writing a very impressive friends request, ha. And as for the tattoo, here is a pic of him where you can see it: clickity here. And also here

I loved that show when I was growing up (I think I was around...11-12?) I was surprised he became the most famous actor to come out of that cast. Don't get me wrong, I liked him in Breaker High, but he didn't really stand out to me in that series. |

Another Mickey Mouse Clubber that made it big. He seems to have that depth where he can play the really big roles.
Although I've heard that he's a bit of an asshole in real life. Who knows, maybe he's just cautious/shy around people? |

that was like... a really long time ago.
And the goosebumps episode "say cheese and die" i used to watch it all the time because i had a crush on him. I'm glad he's still such a great actor lol.
oh breaker high. Not gonna lie, kinda miss that show.
He was also on Ready or Not? i think. Frig, i miss Ready or Not? too. |
