| | | Grace of My Heart is lovely but a gutter.
So many of my favorites have already been mentioned. What are you looking for at bedtime? I love bizarre and depressing or thought provoking films, but I can't get too heavy right before bed. I like to watch Impromptu. (IMDB: Novelist George Sand (Judy Davis) falls in love with composer Frédéric Chopin (Hugh Grant). She tries to profess her love for him at a weekend hosted by a pretentious, artistically minded duchess for famous musicians, artists, and writers of the day. The gentle and sickly Chopin is wary of the outspoken Sand, but finds himself strangely drawn to her, as well.) |

| | | C.R.A.Z.Y. is in my absurdly long netflix queue. I recently had the thought that film is like music - the more you know the more ignorant you suddenly realize you are. |

Obviously you've already gone to bed and woken up many times since posting this, but I thought I would recommend Amarcord because of the two movies you already mentioned even though I've recommended this movie many times before, and it's not that popular.
And Chung King Express & Goodbye Lenin! & anything by Wes Anderson, but they're already in here. Maybe Blue Velvet if you'd like to go darker. |

It is my favorite language. The way it flows and everything is so beautiful. Amelie is probably the best french film ever made, but then again I havn't seen all that many. |
