I don't know, I think Catwoman is an amazing female character and has become a sort of heroe lately. I vote for Catwoman.

i think the thread is female superheroes in film or television.

i never saw that abortion with halle barry, but she was an awesome villain in batman returns.

that movie is awful. It should've never been made.

i'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you meant catwoman. i hated halle barry as storm too. she's such a horrid actress. she ruined my favorite comic book character.

Vampirella. I've known about her since I was 11 years old. But I didn't read any of her comics until 1991. I've read some reprints of Vampi comics from the 70's and the storylines are very good. I very much would like to buy all vampi comics from that period.



Batgirl was the first female superhero I ever saw. Yvonne Craig who played Batgirl in the tv series from the 60's was excellent.

Not the greatest but my favorite probably.

Caitlin Fairchild from Gen13

Buffy is the best. I don't even feel like too much of a douche bag asking myself WWBD in any given situation. And she's one of the most multi-fauceted (or whatever), interesting television characters ever. I can't think of many other characters who actually evolve in convincing ways over the years.

Wonder Woman lacks a consistant origin and I've never found her that interesting anyway. She's just an ugly costume.

Catwoman as written by Ed Brubaker is my second favorite. His first few story-arcs have been collected in trade paperback format if anybody is interested.

She hasn't been on screen yet, Painkiller Jane is my newest favourite. There's a show being made of her for Space. She doesn't have any other powers other than insanely fast regeneration. She usually uses two pistols.



I don't want to think of any others right now. Heroines usually suck balls in popular shows and movies, sadly.

Other than Tank Girl, one of my favourite comic characters.

BTW, Wonder Woman really looks like Clark Kent sometimes. Hmm.

I liked Storm in X-Men 3. And Jean Gray when she became the Phoenix...the way she destroyed everything in sight at the end was incredible.

Rogue, its think its the touch/kissing power she has I think is awesome. Draining away life just from that.

i loved image comics. they had the hottest female characters. there was this comics i had, the cover were like psylocke looking 2 characters. anyway, it was an image comic. can't remember the title.

but this one is cuter.
