the movie was awful. about the only good thing was the soundtrack. havent read the book.

It should sound forced, since it frickin' WAS.

Here is an article from the January issue of Vanity Fair that I thought was very interesting regarding the credibility of Running With Scissors: Ruthless with Scissors: Fame & Scandal: vanityfair.com

And quite frankly, anyone who changes their name from "Chris" to "Augusten" when they get published can kiss my ass.

Excellent!

I personally hated this movie. And I REALLY wanted to like it - it had so much potential. But it left me feeling cold ....

The best depressing movie that I've seen recently is "sherrybaby," with Maggie Gylenhaal. It was so fucking amazing ... I even cried. I hardly ever cry at movies, except for when I watched "The Green Mile."
