what kind of tv watcher are you?

i tend to follow a few shows but don't get too emotionally wrapped up in them. i have a friend who gets so worked up over her shows that i swear if you took her blood pressure during grey's it would be through the roof.

let's discuss.

I get pretty attached to some characters on tv shows, but since I only have 3 functioning channels I don't get to watch them regularly.
But I have been known to yell at the tv. I suppose that would count as emotional, yeah?

I get far to emotionaly involved. At the moment its "Desperate Housewifes".
Bree is a fucking legend. I love the women like i would a best friend!

I also am still pretty much obessed with Sex and the City.

I think my avatar says it all. lol. Thank gawd for TIVO. Something got jacked and it only got 11 minutes of Passions yesterday. I think I may freak out. I can't stand to miss ANYTHING! I get kinda wrapped up in ANTM too. But Scrubs is my life. If I miss a show I SPAZ. Everyone better hold the breath while it's on too.
I cry when they cry, laugh when they laugh. I've been known to dream of my shows on a regular basis. I used to dream of That 70's Show and Friends a lot.

the closest i've come to being emotionally involved with a show is with SATC. i watched that show since high school and after a while it kind of felt like they were my friends too. otherwise, i'm pretty much like if i catch a show i like; great, if not that's fine too.

i don't really watch tv

except for lost.

I dont watch much. The only show i never miss is Americas Next Top Model. And i try to keep up with Greys Anatomy.

I wont embarass myself by menitioning all theo shows i watch religiously, but i picked the first option.

none of the above - tv is so shit these days that i only watch a couple of shows per week. and i dont get emotionally involved in them, i dont even care if i miss them.

i'm basing this off of my friend's broadcasting textbook. these are apparently the three types of tv watchers. they have proper names but i can't remember them.

i don't watch much tv, it bores me.
the only show i watched religiously was SATC.

There are a few shows I watch regularly (Desperate Housewives, US Office) but I tend to be a bit behind the times so I usually just buy/download a whole Season of a show after it's already been on TV and watch it straight thought at once (Deadwood, Freaks and Geeks, Futurama). When I do that I do get really involved cause I'm watching a few episodes everyday day.

i used to watch gilmore girls religiously, and sex and the city like everyone else, although thats all. everything else i'm pretty meh about.

I try to watch gilmore girls every week.

I watch Prison Break weekly... I didn't watch the first season on tv though so I wasn't immediately hooked or anything. but I saw like the last 3 episodes on tv and liked it so I then watched the first season on dvd.
Now I watch the second season on tv though.

I also watch Heroes every week.

And I watch a really retarded Belgian show as well every week. just because it's funny and it's this thing my mom and I always watch together and just laugh at the people

I do get emotionally involved though...well. not really emotionally...but I do get into it. as with movies and just anything... I'm extremely empathic so yea. I realize it's not real though! haha.
but I do scream at the tv a lot an go "oooooh..." and "awww" regularly
