i just got an email from the daphne zuniga mailing list i'm signed up with. and sure enough season two is listed on amazon.
i had no idea.

anyway, season 2 is where it gets good.

Im almost finished Season 1! Ive heard Season 2-3 is were all the action is though. Im loving Jo and Amanda but i hate Billy to death.

He's terrible. I think they had another actor to play the character, but he got fired at the last minute, and they only had a few days to find a replacement.

The character is pretty shitty to start with, but Andrew Shue's whiny voice, lobotomized facial expressions (make that expression, as he only had the one) and cutesy interaction with his dullard roommate makes him insufferable.

That being said, I do love the green jacket he wears in most episodes from mid-season on. I wish I had one.

One of the main problems with the first season, other than the fact nothing happens until the last bunch of episodes, is that it's totally unbelievable Amanda would give a shit about a guy like Billy.

Jake & Jo make a much more convincing couple. Even though Jake is considerably hotter than Jo.
I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I find the Jake/Jo love theme music quite moving.

EXACTLY. Theres no way someone like Amanda would go for him...there's no way anyone in their right mind would go for his whiney little fish face. Are him and Allison gonna ever get it together? Its so pathetic.

Although i like Jake & Jo as a couple, i had to look away a lot at the few episodes when they were getting it together...just way too much tonsil tennis.
