| | He's absolutely charming. I've seen him this summer playing with an adorable pregnant drummer. The set wasn't too good but I was curious and... Surprised >> He's so short |

| | | Oh I love Vince Gallo. He's such hilarious eccentric guy, both in real life and in the roles he plays in films. He's great. |

one of my favorite scenes ever in any movie is where christina ricci tapdances to king crimson in the bowling alley. who cares if it's self-indulgent or whatever, it's a nice scene. |

| | jesus, i can barely justifiy liking his work, lol!
but i do. buffalo 66 is prettty DAMN good and he's got some very intriuging ideas about stuff. a great directors eye. and i cant help but kind of like the fact that he's such good friends with john frusciante...
however theres no denying the man is an insecure, raging narcissist. either he's gonna have a serious break with reality one of these days or he's just putting on a highly highly obnoxious act for publicity, or to satisfy something in him....that would be very annoying though. in a word, he's the indie elitist's axl rose.
and for the record i enjoy axl's music as well |

| | | its beautiful to look at.. which is a huge part of its charm...it makes the mudane and the monotony in life look so much more interesting. very few directors can pull that off without seeming selfindulgent or pretentious. i love the tap scene in the bowling ally...she just too cute.
i see this film as a film about learning to recieve love. i mean how sad was his family situation??? they guy had no clue. its such a big thing. i guess i think of it as more ppl find it easier to recieve than give and that selfishness is pretty much a born instinct so how fuckd wouldve his childhood have to have been, to put him so out of touch with the simple notion of recieving love, compliments, touch!! and to convey that in film???
definatly in my new top 5 ha. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
