| | | The housekeepers left while they were still alive. Nicole Kidman's character went bezerk because the health of her children prevented her from leaving. Killing her kids, in her moment of insanity, seemed like a logical solution to free herself from that house. Plus add on the fact that she lost her husband during the war..she was isolated and felt trapped. |

I think it's an amazing movie on all levels, and Nicole is great in it. |

| | | I personally LOVE Nicole Kidman, I consider her an artist and she always gives top performaces in all her movies, and what's most important, she never repeats herself, unlike Julia Roberts or Kirsten Dunst, she is never Nicole Kidman on the screen, never, it's always the character.
I think she is easily the best actress of our time and completely underrated. |

| | | the movie itself was okay, i personally loved seeing it though because at the end as i was walking out fo the theatre with my friend she yells (cause she's so bloody loud) "I CAN'T BELIEVE NICOLE KIDMAN WAS THE GHOST" and then everyone in line to go in starts yelling at her like "thanks a lot asshole!" and half of them leave! haha. |

| | They were all ghosts. Housekeepers and all. I hated when Nicole Kidman's character found the picture of the housekeepers where their eyes were shut. What a creepy creepy moment. Such a simple scene, yet so effective. It sent shivers down my spine. |
