| | | I enjoyed both Se7en and Panic Room (even if it was only for the first viewing) so I definitely want to go see this. Although I get a "se7en-ish" vibe from it. I hope they are different enough not to mash together.
Damn the list of theater movies get's longer by the minute. |

| | | this movie is stupid because it takes place in san francisco, when the real zodiac murders happened in Vallejo which is totally like an hour east or more of the city.
and the zodiac killer was never caught.
i'll see it anyway though. |

The movie is set in San Francisco, but they do include Vallejo - apparently he killed in multiple cities, and they're included in the movie.
I won't say anything about the getting caught thing though because I don't want to ruin the movie. |

| | | So, for those of you who saw the movie, is it worth the ten bucks?? I really do want to see it, but I've been getting disappointed lately, (can you say "Black Dahlia??") so I'm unsure. Plus, this new class I have is insane and I don't know if I can even make enough time to go.
When I was a kid, I got shuffled back and forth between the Bay Area and L.A. to live during the late 60's and through the 70's. I remember the Zodiac Killer well, because I was always freaked out by serial killers. More than the average person, let alone kid.
When he threatened to kill an entire schoolbus of kids, that was big news, and you'd see like pictures of buses on the news with bright orange flags, meaning that bus had security, or you'd see buses being followed by police cars that day, stuff like that.
I was pretty young during those years, but I do recall him and the freaky drawings and clues and all of that stuff.
Sorry....had a little brain lapse there!
Anyways, I'm dying to hear reviews!! |

| | | | ^^^ if at all possible, I think you should go.
I enjoyed the movie & I think for someone like you who actually lived it & remember a lot if it, it'll be interesting. |

| | | I really LIKED that movie! It was like the well-written, well-acted old movies that just had the great plots driving them without all of the special effects or any other crap. Just a great movie with great actors.
As for the ending, I was sort of dreading it throughout the movie, since the movie was going so well, but I was pleasantly surprised. I guess that's all I'll say just in case anyone still plans on seeing this so I don't spoil anything.
This film is 2 hrs. 40 mins. long, but it didn't drag on for me at all. The theater was totally full, and the whole audience was along for the ride, from what I saw and heard.
Jake G. and Mark Ruffalo were great. To be honest, Robert Downey Jr. sort of played the same role that he always does, but he did it very well. |

| | | | good, I'm glad you ended up liking it!
I didn't think it felt nearly as long as it is either. |

I really liked it. It was well done in pretty much all aspects and had really good parts where you had to like cling onto the person next to you. It was like almost 3 hours though, which kinda sucked cause I was expecting like a normal 2 hour movie. Maybe it was just like that for me though cause I kept waiting for it to end cause I had to be elsewhere |

let me check IMDB
edit: I checked. when I checked a couple months ago when he first told me he was in it he was listed as "informant nr 7" or sth like that....now he is no longer listed so I guess they cut him out because he had already filmed the part..... OUCH..... sucks for me cos I would've totally been in the movie theatre screaming "looooook! there's my friend!!!! I know him!!!' haha. and annoyed everyone. I enjoy annoying people at the movies
