| | | oh right.
i think i'm supposed to be seeing this tonight? or that was the plan a few days ago anyway... it really looks like my kind of thing.
i sat through all 3 lotr movies, and titanic and god knows what else that's been over 3 hours in length. so i'm sure i can handle 2 hours and 40 minutes.

If you like Mark Ruffalo as an actor please watch You Can Count on Me. |

it was really beautiful. best thing i've seen that er guy in as well (edwards?), jake was only so so though. i think it reminded me of watching all those 70s cop shows when i was a child because i got a fuzzy warm glow from it even though it was a serial killer film. also donovan on the sound track helped with that
orchestral it was mostly in sf as it was about the guys hunting him, that is the chronical and (after the cab driver shooting) the sfpd

| | | Just saw this on DVD> I liked it, and not knowing anything about the real life case it was sort of educational in a way. I thought it was well acted by Ruffalo and Gyllenhaal as well (and I really like Chloe Sevigny for some reason). It had a lot of good suspenseful scenes as well- the basement scene near the end was great!
Maybe it was because I was tired (or have a short attention span), but couple of things confused me:
1) The woman with the baby - didn't she get a look a the guy's face? (or was that even Zodiac who abducted her?)
2) Why was Toschi suspected of writing fake Zodiac letters? |

| | | it was a great movie.
and they really couldn't tie the ending up, because they never really knew who the Zodiac killer was. they had suspicions. and circumstantial evidence. but, conflicting DNA and fingerprints with that evidence. they also thought the unibomber was the Zodiac. so, we will probably never know that mystery. it is obvious who the writers thought the killer was though. haha. |

| | | watched this too, alone, the other night. and i was so creeped out, i was kind of convinced someone was outside the door. the movie was long but it doesn't matter. actually, with the length and the scope of the movie, it was too short. but yeah, fascinating detailed retelling of an unsolved case. |

sorry for bumping, but you've gotta see this movie. | I'm glad you bumped this thread. I thought this was a great movie too. I always love movies that don't need special effects or anything because the plot and acting is good enough, and that's what "Zodiac" was!
