she's a lot like jodie foster who was another little freak. some kids are just like that. ive met one like that. its unsettling, but thats who they are.
also, drew barrymore was a child star and she didnt seem to have a problem with it. famous children always bring out the freaks. that doesnt mean dakota is any more damaged by it. she's hopefully protected from it. |

i read some interview with the director and she said it was filmed very carefully and specifically. dakota didnt experience anything she shouldnt have. they had a child services person on set and her parents were there too. |

I mean, I don`t know the kid I just know that so many child stars are way too pushed harder than they should cause of greedy crazy parents. Of course, this isn`t the case of all.
I still don`t think it`s right to make fun of kids. Grown ups feel bad when they get mocked with- imagine how a kid would feel?
