| | | I finally saw "Prozac Nation" It turns out that I didn't hate it. I thought I would. The book was pretty self-indulgent and I never got through the entire thing. Just my opinion.
Christina Ricci was very good, but she always is in everything she does. She was really easy to dislike. I know we were supposed to feel that way about Jessica Lange, but were we supposed to feel that way about Christina too?
Why did Michelle W's character turn out to be such a phony, nasty bitch? I do respect that she stood up to Lizzie at the end and refuse to take her to the hospital, but she was really shitty there after awhile. Was it just because of the boyfriend thing?
Great cast!! (Jessica Lange, Jason Biggs, Michelle Williams)
Loved seeing Lou Reed.
But, the movie itself was fair.
I'm sorry if this thread has been made a million other times. I just saw this movie though. |

| | | I found this film interesting but I don't think it elaborated enough on her transistion from depression onto the anti depressant medication. It just sort of happened from one scene to another and I don't think that was portrayed well. Christina Ricci was great. She is a great actress though. Oddly, I thought Jason Biggs was one of the best in the film. |

| | | I also thought it was really good. I like the part where her friend cries and says, "It must be really sad to be you." Jason Biggs did a good job. |

| | | I thought Jessica Lange was too likeable. She just looks like such a nice person. I love Christina but I don't think she was right to play Elizabeth.
Basically I thought this film was awful. :/ |

| | | I <3 Jessica Lange. She's the queen of playing fucked up!
Lange and Williams were really good but the direction, screenplay and Ricci were what dragged this one down. |

| | | yeah...i didn't really like this movie, i've never watched the whole thing, but i've tried twice. the first time i got pertty far, like..all but the lat 15 minutes and turned it off because it was annoying me. the second time i turned it off after 20 minutes because i thought "wait...this movie is still really annoying" and turned it off. i love christina ricci though, but...i just don't really like elizabeth wurtzel. |
