I sure couldn't. I feel sad and icky now. I was so happy when he realised he still had his balls hah. I really had no idea what this movie was about so I was shocked as hell when psycho girl emerged. I'm not sure I was convinced by her portrayal though. Kinda good movie maybe. I can't tell I'm still a bit shocked actually I think eek.

I hated it and liked it at the same time. Ellen Ruth was good. So was he. And Sandra Oh had a bit part! Good enough. Not fantastic but meh. Still good.

i liked it.
i liked how in the beginning there were a lot of closeups and such,i dont know, it felt intimate.

i just watched it on dvd.

thought the story line was good and the girl was very smart. i couldn't quite figure out her immediate connection to aaron or donna (did she know either of them personally?) but i loved her commitment to tormenting this guy and driving him to his end.

i like long movies like this, especially when the pauses in action add to the story.

great acting and interesting concept.

Anyone seen it? I loved it but my mom didnt and she was giving out that we wasted our evening watching a 'teen flick.' I totally disagree..I thought it was awesome nevertheless. She also watched hard candy by herself and she didnt like it either so I dont trust her opinion.

I finally saw it and I thought it was very original and better than all the other crap movies out right now. The cinematography was great too.

I thought it sucked other than one terribley effective scene.

My main issue was that they make you rout for the bad guy in this. Which is not their intention but they made the girl so unlikable that you end up siding with the guy.

Also, I feel the need to mention that about 100 years ago it would be PERFECTLY normal for a 32 year old man to have a 14 year old wife. I don't see why as a society we up and decided it was wrong (maybe it was wrong all along but why did we ever think it was right then?)

I dunno. I could never do a 14 year old because they are dumb and annoying haha.

btw he was hot.

At the end, I couldn't decided if I loved it or hated it.
I deff hated the girl though. Like. idk why. She just wasn't a good actress for it. I can't place my finger on what it was but she just wasn't right for the part. And her character was so fkin annoying on top of that. In the middle of the movie my friend was like "I CANT WATCH THIS ANYMORE I WANNA PUNCH HER IN THE FUCKING FACE!"
And I didn't get the whole Janelle thing. Like why was she so big a deal ?

Have you ever looked at the local pedophile listings? There is always a really hot guy in the bunch. Then there are the poor guys who have to register as a sex offender just because their 16 year old girlfriend wanted revenge. Sex offender laws are so dumb.

I thought it was brilliant. It was also very fucking original that they made the perp a fox. Takes it to the next level of uncomfortable. I cannot watch the castration scene again!

i was so rooting for ellen page (the little girl) the whole way through. it's mainly because of the performance which was razor sharp. patrick wilson has that vacant, handsome look which worked well for the role. for people wanting to see his ass, check out little children.

I saw that Patrick Wilson was also in Little Children -- Isn't he a pedo in that too? Weird.

Ellen Page scared the shit out of me in a Lord of the Flies kind of way.

The movie made me tense. Really, really tense. I think that they shot over so many solid and bright colored backgrounds to enhance that.

I am not sure if I would recommend this to anyone though. I think a lot of people didn't like it because it is hard to watch two people act through an entire movie in that way....even if it is refreshing to see such a short cast list.
