is there a reason that they spelt 'happyness' with a y?
cuz i always thought it was 'happiness'.
& that bugged me so much that i haven't bothered see the movie.

This is actually a reason for the spelling mistake, it is explained in the film

I quite liked this film and I usually hate will smith (and his son is cute as hell in it) and it made me cry twice

Tell me what it is! I need to know - it annoys me, and I refuse to see a heart-warming American Dream film.

It's one of those films that really hits you emotionally. You feel so involved with the two main charactors, you just get really sucked into the whole story. I suppose it is quite cheesy, but i thought it was a really good film.

well, his son goes to this shitty little nursery because he can't afford decent day care
They just sit him in front of the tv and stuff and isn't getting any education.

On the wall outside of the nursery there's some graffiti with swear words which he gets mad at, obviously becuase the kids can see it. The wall is also some kind of colourful murial, but it has the incorrectly spelt 'happyness' which also really pisses him off.........and that's it really!

Just watched it, and it really did hit home. I didn't find it particularly cheesy though.

I probably would have buckled under similar circumstances.
