| | | Hot Fuzz Went to see it last night. Absolutely brilliant, easily the funniest comedy I've seen in years. The entire cinema was convulsed with laughter. If anyone has already started a thread I apologise. I *did* search, I swear.

| | It must have been an advance screening. Normally new realeases come out on a thursday. Go even if you have to go on your lonesome. Its so fucking funny. At one point I thought it was starting to get a little bit ridiculous but the last half hour had me almost in tears I was laughing so hard.

| | | i saw it last night too. really good, much better than shaun of the dead. i think its made even better if you come from a small town/village. the old farmer guy with the shedful of guns that spoke 'countryside english' was my favourite. |

I really want to go and see it again, as I missed the best bit due to faffing around with my popcorn |

They're both pretty much level imo. The farmer guy was classic and the granny getting dropkicked had me in stitches. Have to say, the supporting cast was fantastic, especially Paddy Considine.

| | Saw it yesterday...oh my, it was really really good and so freaking funny! I love Shaun of the Dead so much but this was pretty close. I agree about the granny drop-kicking bit - i almost wet myself. The Omen-stylee death scene, Timothy Dalton was hysterical...i implore you to go see it!!! |

| | | i really loved it
it had extra appeal for me because i'm from gloucestershire originally
some of it is spot on, the scene in the pub with all the kids, the dad selling apples, the farmer with the really strong accent |
