Amstell is okay but Lemarr was KING on that show. He looks like my friends fiance who has a similar personality. Lol!
My favourite bit on NMTB was when they had a line up with this Jamaican man in it and all he would do is stare at the ceiling, the panel would cuss him and he would keep the same expression. They got him for another line up and it was for a white artist. So funny. |

| | | Last night's episode was great, but surely Preston must've known Simon would take the piss? You can't expect to go on the show & not have jokes made about you.
I thought the Donny think last week went too far to be honest & I ended up feeling a bit sorry for him even though he came across as a complete dick.
I loved how they got some random guy from the audience called 'ed' to sit in Preston's place. & seeing Fyfe from the Guillemots was a nice surpise! Although he didn't say a lot. |

| | There are clips of Preston's strop in a sparkly cardigan up on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcMiyEt9R08
It does seem like he takes himself too seriously. He is always touchy when someone implies Chantelle is a bimbo. He must know. |

The episode with 'Donny' 'Tourette' was excellent as well. Amstell really started to capture the spirit of The Lamarr Days: brilliantly cringey
Ahhh and Harry Hill's TV Burp's on in less than an hour...could this night get any better?! |

i was impressed he had the self-control to get up & leave to be honest. at least he didn't slug the guy. |

whens the repeat on? | agreed. I always thought he was funny on T4, and his guest appearance as host on Buzzcocks last series was great, because he was being himself, but it seems the writers are still writing for Mark Lamarr and it seems forced and contrived.
I never used to miss a single show, but now I just can't be arsed, which is a shame cos I still think Phill and Bill are the dog's bollocks.
they should axe it now while it's still got a shred of credibility. |

| I think this was more apparent in the last series, he was trying to deliver the lines like mark but he's now becoming a more acidic version of his popworld self. I used to absolutely hate him but I do find him mildly amusing these days.
Is Lamarr on hiatus like it was originally announced or has he left for good? | |
