| | | Freeway I just saw this movie again this morning (it was on HBO) for the first time in YEARS and was laughing my ass off! I cannot believe I forgot how much I love this movie. Seriously, wtf happened to Reese Witherspoon, she used to be so cool! If you can look past certain quality issues like numerous continuity errors, I highly recommend it.
I think this is Reese Witherspoon's best performance. |

It seriously has some of the most memorable quotes...
All day I've had "Well I don't like bein called a natural born whore!" stuck in my head, haha. Her voice is so crazy in that film. I don't think anyone could have done it better. |

| | | Is it just me, or does anyone else ever get the feeling while watching that the cop duo seems to have been borrowed from a r-rated musical? I just keep waiting for them to bust out in song, and I don't know why.

laughed all the way through it. her character was awesome - hurt, but in no way helpless. that guy was way too creepy. he deserved every last one of his injuries. |

| | | What a coincidence I just watched this movie like two days ago. It's one of my favorites. I just love this fucking movie so much. Reese Witherspoon is BRILLIANT in it I think because she is so focused and totally brings it in this film. I read somewhere that because she was saying and doing so many outrageous things she just played her part as a dramatic performance.
Reese is really a good actress. Just because she got all commercial now doesn't mean you should hate on her now you snobs! She still good even in those mainstream movies. She's so underrated now because now they just want to turn her into the new Julia Roberts or Meg Ryan but Reese Witherspoon is a brilliant character actress. She was great in Walk the Line and another one of my favorite films Election also.
I love the courtroom scenes in Freeway where she is picking at Kiefer and I like the whole car sequence with Kiefer. Funny as fuck. When Kiefer says "like that fucking whore of a mother of yours" and Reese says "well sure wouldn't want to meet your mom, Bob" and he punches her in the stomach and she says "what! You can talk about my mom but I can't talk about yours!" LMAO!!! And she says stuff like "you wouldn't like it if someone was doing that to you!" and "Why you kill all those girls Bob" she's talking to him-a killer-as if a little kid was talking to another kid when that kid was doing something bad. It was just so funny the way she would interact with him. |

| | I do like the 2nd one just as well as the first, but I see it as more of a drama I guess (meaning I have to be in a different mood to watch it). It kind of reminds me of "Of Mice and Men".
Watching the 2nd one is worth it just for the Vincent Gallo part. | |
