| | | are tv movies like reading a tabloid?? there are some great tv movies like Hysterical Madness, but I'm talking about the tv movie of Aileen Wournos, or the mcmartin trial and stuff like that, isn't it like watching a tabloid??? tabloid mvoies??
If you compare the aileen wournos tv movie and monster they are two totally different things you know?? Monster is not a tabloid movie. |

| | | of course they are.
Also, it's Hysterical Blindness (you are refering to the Thurman/Lewis movie, right?)
Overkill is a very interesting movie. It's not acurate but neither is Monster. Both movies seemed to have extreme difficulty with the Tyra (Selby) character. Neither movie wanted to have a bull dyke character so they both opted to make her a softer and prettier lady. Overkill went even further to make them not lesbians (if I remember correctly, I really need to watch it again)
but to answer your question, yes they are. There was a Scott Petersen movie out before he even went to trial. There were OJ tv movies, basically any major crime gets an immediate TV movie. |

| | | The basic difference, I think, is a smaller budget, and the related issue of having less time to make them.

I didn't see it but why do you say it's a interesting movie? |

I didn't see it but why do you say it's a interesting movie? | It's just as interesting as Monster. It's the same story. Park Overall was a lot less anoying than Christina Ricci. Jean Smart wasn't anywhere near as brilliant as Charlize Theron but she isn't that bad either. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
