| | | They're all pretentious wankery but I like 2001: A Space Odessy for the 10 minute "slow panning" into frame FOR EVERY SHOT!
And the fact that HAL sounds evilly monotonous. I like that in a villian. |

| | | the shining.
reasons:
1. jack nicholson is the MAN
2. as above
3. it was so eerie in a real way. so my fear was real and not just ew fear.
4. the scenery
i would have chosen 'eyes wide shut' for the rude sex party. but, i really hate nicole.

I loved the Shining
"Eyes Wide Shut" had such a shite ending, it wrecked the movie |

| | | it's hard to say because he has made an absolute masterpeice for many genres.
2001 is the real stand out iconic film in a genre that has alot of shit attached to it.
Dr. Strangelove is one of top 2 or 3 comedy films of all time.
It's between them two really, paths of glory, the shining and barry lyndon are genius too though. |

| | | The Shining is definitely the scariest horror movie that I have ever seen.
Hmm this is a tough question..
I'm going with Clockwork. Although Lolita came very close. |

| | | 2001. Ithink I saw that one about 18 times, and read the book as many.
Became a big Arthur C. Clarke fan for years after that. |

| | | 2001: A Space Odyssey. The cinematography and story line were mid-blowing, and the film hasn't aged at all. I like the Shining, because Jack Nicholson was so over-the-top in it. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
