| | | Jessica Lange I'm really into her right now. I've been watching a lot of her movies and have a few more lined up in my netflix queue.
Believe it or not the movie that sparked my interest in her was 1976's King Kong. She was just so gorgous in that and was really good, far better than that twit Watts.
Anyway, I've watched Sweet Dreams, Frances, and Blue Sky which are regarded as her best work. I also watched Postman Always Rings Twice, Normal, and Hush.
Normal was superb, she was so good in that, I can't believe she lost the golden globe to Streep in Angels in America. Frances was also amazing, even if the facts are a little questionable. Sweet Dreams was great, but Blue Sky I just didn't get, she did win an Oscar for it though.
I have Music Box, Country, and How To Beat The High Co$t Of Living on my queue, what else should I rent? |

And whether anyone cares or not, I love her in Kong '76. Funny how a part she went for on a lark would help set off such an amazing career.
Other films to recommend? Toostie for certain, as well as All That Jazz, Cape Fear, Everybody's All American, Rob Roy, Night and the City, Titus, Big Fish, and Broken Flowers. In a nutshell, everything she's ever done.
And for a great site on her (with a great online community I have yet to join), go here |

Did you see her in Prozac Nation? |

But there are a few Burton films I've been able to get through, and I enjoyed Big Fish (probably due to the fact that there was no Johnny Depp).
Her role in Broken Flowers is quite brief but it's worth it all the same; it's also one of Bill Murray's best performances. |

Lange was pretty disappointed with how the film turned out, as the script was much darker. |

| | | Hush was actually the first movie I saw her in back when it came out. I think I was like 12 when it came out and I saw it in theaters. |
